Our Tradition office is now open Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturdays, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Today, we remember.

Twenty-five years ago, our nation experienced an unimaginable tragedy. We honor the nearly 2,977 lives lost on September 11, 2001, and we remember the families, friends and communities forever changed by that day.

We also pay tribute to the firefighters, law enforcement officers, first responders, service members and everyday citizens who acted with extraordinary courage and compassion in the face of devastation.

Their bravery, sacrifice and humanity remain part of the legacy of September 11.

May we never forget those we lost, those who ran toward danger to help others and the strength our nation found in standing together.

As western continues to grow, our Tradition office continues to see increased demand for service.

Beginning September 14, we’re extending hours at this location to provide more appointment availability, walk-in opportunities and flexibility for our neighbors!

The Tradition office will be open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. – 6 p.m., with limited services available Saturdays from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.

This week at the Florida Tax Collectors Association's Fall Education Forum, Tax Collector Chris Craft and Chief Strategy & Engagement Officer Carin Campbell Smith both presented sessions focused on how we can work smarter, communicate better and continue improving the customer experience.

Chris shared insights on the evolving role of artificial intelligence, while Carin explored how we can have better conversations and use AI as a tool to communicate more effectively.

Opportunities like this allow us to share best practices, learn from our colleagues and contribute to the innovation happening across Florida’s tax collector offices. We’re proud to be part of the conversation.

ALLIGATOR HUNTING SEASON IS HERE! 🐊

Florida's statewide alligator hunting season begins on August 15. The Statewide Alligator Hunt is highly sought after and limited entry, with over 15,000 applicants applying for 7,000 available permits.

Working with MyFWC Florida Fish and Wildlife to issue permits is just one of the many services we provide to our St. Lucie County neighbors.

This summer, the TCSLC team came together to support Little Birthday Angels, a local nonprofit dedicated to making sure every homeless child on the Treasure Coast has a birthday worth celebrating.

Through donations and generosity from our employees, we helped provide birthday gifts and essential items that remind children they are seen, valued and celebrated on their special day.
