🍋🍋 4-H Lemonade Wars is BACK this summer! 🍋🍋

Join us for this exciting two-part entrepreneurship event at the NACC E-Center!

📅 June 23 | 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Participants will hear from local businesses, develop their own lemonade business ideas, and create marketing and business plans.

📅 June 30 | 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Our young entrepreneurs will put their plans into action by setting up and selling their lemonade to the public!

💛 We would love for our community to come out on June 30th to support these hardworking 4-H youth, purchase some lemonade, and encourage the next generation of business leaders!

We can’t wait to see the creativity, teamwork, and entrepreneurial spirit these young people bring to Lemonade Wars 2026! 🍋

🏅Today, over 200 4-H members from across Northeast Alabama gathered at Northeast Alabama Community College, and DeKalb County was proudly represented by 44 outstanding 4-H members! 💚🍀

Our youth competed in presentations, demonstrations, and contests while showing confidence, leadership, and all of the hard work they’ve put in throughout the year. We are so proud of each member for stepping up and representing DeKalb County so well!

Thank you to our volunteers, parents, teachers, and supporters who help make opportunities like this possible for our youth. Congratulations to all of our 4-H’ers on a successful Regional Congress! 🍀

🐷🎉 TOMORROW is the BIG day! 🎉🐷

The DeKalb County 4-H Pig Squeal Show & Auction is happening Saturday, May 9th at the DeKalb County VFW Fairgrounds, and we hope to see you there!

📍 Show starts at 11:00 AM
📍 Auction begins at 12:30 PM (tentative)

Our 4-H members have spent months working hard to raise their pigs, and tomorrow they’ll finally get to showcase all of that dedication and effort. 💙

🥩 Want to fill your freezer with high-quality, locally raised pork? Come bid at the auction! Processors will be on-site, so there’s no need to take home a live hog. Processing fees apply separately.

This event is more than just an auction — it’s a chance to support local youth, agriculture, and the future of our community.
