Thank you all so much for making COPMUN III such a huge success! It was an incredible experience and I was so lucky to have shared it with all of you. I can’t express enough my deepest appreciation for all the hard work done on the part of the staff, delegates, and moderators. Your continued support and dedication inspires me. It has been a true honor and privilege serving as your Secretary-General for the past two years. While I am sad to be graduating, the four young women who are taking over this conference are intelligent, innovative, and extremely responsible and I have nothing but the highest respect for and confidence in them. I hope that you have enjoyed this journey as much as I have and continue to support COPMUN as it moves into its fourth year. Again, I congratulate all of our winners from COPMUN III and for the last time as Secretary-General wish all of you the best of luck in your MUN endeavors and sincerely thank you for being a part of this incredible experience.

Christy Ivie joined us as our guest speaker yesterday and gave an incredible speech full of helpful insight on ways in which we can make a difference in our own community in regards to stopping human trafficking. I had the honor of speaking at the City of Palms Model United Nations Conference yesterday hosted by Bishop Verot High School. The COPMUN Conference provides a challenging and academic experience to high school students in SWFL allowing delegates to discuss demanding world views and resolve conflict through debate, compromise, and diplomacy. The Social, Cultural, and Humanitarian Committee presented an excellent paper on Human Trafficking. Our future is a bright one with these young people leading the way. Thank you for inviting Christy’s Cause to be a part of the conference and awarding us with the Outstanding Humanitarian Effort Award along with a generous donation!
