Know Your Shelter Options Before the Storm

While all Lee County shelters are pet-friendly, not every shelter will open for every emergency. Shelter openings depend on the storm's track, intensity, and local conditions.

📍 Potential shelter locations shown on this map include:

• Island Coast High School
• North Fort Myers Recreation Center
• Dunbar High School
• Treeline Elementary School
• South Fort Myers High School
• Hertz Arena
• North Fort Myers Academy of the Arts
• Manatee Middle School
• Oak Hammock Middle School
• Varsity Lakes Middle School
• Estero Recreation Center
• Aubrey Rogers High School

📞 For the latest shelter information during an emergency, contact the Lee County Emergency Operations Center at 239-533-0622 or follow official emergency management updates.

Preparation starts before a storm is in the Gulf. Know your evacuation zone, make a plan for your family and pets, stay informed through trusted sources, and keep FMB Strong!
