ABOUT JBM-HH

Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall secures its joint community, sustains infrastructure, and supports installation partners and special events in order to support the Joint Task Force - National Capital Region and U.S. Army Military District of Washington mission and contingency operations. On order, JBM-HH supports MDW and JTF-NCR homeland defense, defense support of civil authorities,

and other contingency operations in the NCR. The joint base, headquartered on the Myer campus, provides some 150,000 active duty, reserve component, and retired military personnel, family members, and civilian workforce with modern, clean, and safe facilities and services. Amid history and pageantry, JBM-HH provides administrative, housing, recreation, and support to active duty, reserve component, retired military, and Department of Defense civilian personnel stationed or living in the NCR. Due to the National Defense University graduation ceremony tomorrow (June 11) at 10 a.m., we expect increased traffic across the installation, particularly around the 2nd Street Gate from morning through early afternoon.

To help alleviate congestion, please note the following temporary gate adjustments:

Ceremonial Gate will be open from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. for DoW ID card holders only (both entry and exit).

ICAF (Marine Pedestrian) Gate (near Eisenhower Hall) will also be open for DoW ID card holders entering as pedestrians, which is convenient for those utilizing the parking area near the marina.
