Free Residential Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event this Saturday, April 18th, from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

This event will be held at the Motor Vehicle Division, located at 1325 Alonas Way, Bullhead City, AZ.

Providing residents with a valuable opportunity to safely dispose of hazardous materials from their homes and garages. Since this collection is offered only twice a year, we strongly encourage everyone to take advantage of this convenient, free service.

This morning, a flag ceremony was held in honor of Battalion Chief Kevin Thompson. As the longest‑serving member in Fort Mojave Mesa Fire District history, Chief Thompson’s impact is woven into every station, every crew, and every tradition we carry forward. He dedicated 32 years of loyal service to the District and the Fort Mohave community.
Thank you, Battalion Chief Thompson, for your decades of service and for leaving a lasting legacy within Fort Mojave Mesa Fire District. Congratulations Kevin Thompson 🔛 your permanent four day!

Yesterday we witnessed the true meaning of honor and brotherhood. Thank you to everyone who stood with us to pay tribute to one of our own, Rob Hussey. Rest in Peace our friend.

Fort Mojave Mesa Fire is sad to announce the loss of Firefighter/Senior Mechanic Rob Hussey. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 am on March 10, 2026, at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, 1691 N. Oatman Rd, Bullhead City, AZ 86442.

Rob was a valued and beloved member of the Fort Mojave Mesa Fire Family for more than 20 years and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

FMMFD personnel, Clark, Schmidt and Bakken are at Sea Western in Yakima, WA today for final inspection and delivery of our new type 6 brush truck. The truck was purchased with a $250,000 grant from the State of Arizona DFFM.

Over the next month the truck will have equipment added and lettered and be placed in service.
