Overnight Fire Rehab Response | Sharon, SC

Around midnight last night, Atrium Health Fort Mill EMS was requested to respond with our Rehab Trailer and support equipment to assist personnel operating at a working residential structure fire in Sharon.

Upon arrival, our team established rehab operations and provided water, Gatorade, popsicles, cooling towels, and medical monitoring to personnel working throughout the incident.

We were proud to provide rehab support alongside:

Sharon Fire Department
Hickory Grove Fire Department
Bullock Creek Fire Department
City of York Fire Department, SC
York County Sheriff's Office
Piedmont EMS

Our Rehab Team remains available 24/7/365 to support public safety agencies throughout York County when extended incidents, extreme conditions, or additional resources require dedicated responder rehabilitation.

🔥 COMMERCIAL FIRE REHAB — FINAL UPDATE 🔥

After more than 12 hours on scene, our team officially demobilized last night and returned safely back to York County.

Throughout this extended operation, two separate shifts of our personnel worked to provide continuous rehab and support to the many public safety personnel operating on scene. Our crews provided water, hydration, cooling resources, snacks, and a dedicated area for responders to rest and recover.

Our support also extended beyond the rehab area. We utilized our Gator throughout the incident to deliver water directly to firefighters working on the backside of the fire who were unable to make it to rehab. Our team also made rounds delivering water to Sheriff’s Office personnel positioned around the incident scene for traffic control and road closures.

We are incredibly proud of our team members who answered the call and spent hours supporting fellow first responders outside of York County. Thank you to every agency and responder who worked throughout this challenging incident.

UPDATE: Commercial Fire – Fairfield County

Our Atrium Health Fort Mill EMS Fire Rehab Team is set up and operational on scene of the commercial structure fire in Fairfield County.

Our team is currently providing firefighter rehab, hydration, cooling resources, and other support to the crews working this incident.

We’re proud to be able to respond beyond our normal service area when requested and support our fellow first responders during extended operations.

🚨 MUTUAL AID RESPONSE | FIRE REHAB 🚨

Early this morning, our team rolled out after being requested to Fairfield County to provide mutual aid Fire Rehab support for crews operating at a commercial structure fire.

Our team is responding with rehab personnel and equipment to provide hydration, cooling resources, snacks, and medical monitoring for the firefighters working this incident.

We’re proud to answer the call when our public safety partners need additional support — even beyond York County.

🚨 Fire Rehab Response – Smyrna, SC 🚨

At approximately 11:30 PM last night, Atrium Health Fort Mill EMS was requested to respond with our Fire Rehab Units to a fully Involved working structure fire in Smyrna, York County.

Despite the distance, our crews responded quickly and safely to provide rehabilitation support for the firefighters and emergency personnel operating on scene. With multiple apparatus already on scene, we positioned our rehab supplies near Hickory Grove's Trailer so responders could quickly receive the care and resources they needed.

🔥 Fire Rehab Response | Rock Hill

At approximately 8:45 PM last night, Atrium Health Fort Mill EMS was requested to provide firefighter rehab at a working structure fire in Rock Hill.

We responded with a full crew and remained on scene for over 2 hours, providing water, cooling rags, snacks, and medical monitoring to firefighters and personnel operating at the incident.

Due to limited access near the scene, we were unable to position our rehab trailer close enough to the scene. However, that didn’t stop our team from getting to work. We quickly established a mobile rehab area and continued providing the resources and support crews needed throughout the incident.

We were proud to support:

* Newport Fire Department
* Rock Hill Fire
* York County Fire Marshal’s Office
* Piedmont EMS

Our rehab resources are designed to adapt to the needs of an incident. Trailer or no trailer, our goal remains the same: supporting the first responders working hard to protect our communities.

Today marks the first day back for students, teachers, faculty, and staff across all York County School Districts, and all of us at Atrium Health Fort Mill EMS want to wish everyone a safe, successful, and exciting school year!

As buses return to the roads and school zones become busy once again, we encourage everyone to do their part to keep our community safe:
🚌 Stop for school buses when required.
🚸 Slow down in school zones.
📵 Stay alert and avoid distractions while driving.
🚶 Watch carefully for students walking or biking to and from school.

Yesterday at 3:51 PM, Atrium Health Fort Mill EMS responded with our Rehab Unit's after being requested by York County Fire to support crews operating at a working structure fire.

With extreme temperatures and a large number of personnel on scene, our team established a rehabilitation area to help keep responders safe and mission-ready. We provided cold bottled water, Gatorade, cooling towels, snacks, and firefighter rehabilitation services throughout the incident.

We were honored to support:
Bethel SC Volunteer Fire Department
Newport Fire Department
Clover Fire Department
York County Fire
York County Office of Emergency Management
York County Sheriff's Office

Then, today at 11:48 PM, our Rehab Unit's were requested to respond to another working structure fire. Our crews immediately responded but were canceled while en route.

Whether we're actively operating on scene or responding to the next request, Atrium Health Fort Mill EMS stands ready 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to provide rehab support to any public safety agency throughout York County.
