☀️ Summer Hours Update ☀️

Beginning Memorial Day through Labor Day, the Fort Mill Care Center’s summer hours will be:

• Monday: 9 AM–12 PM
• Wednesday: 9 AM–12 PM & 5 PM–7 PM

Please note that we will no longer be open on Fridays during the summer months.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who participated in the USPS Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive! ❤️

Because of the generosity of our community, more than 3,000 pounds of food were donated to the Fort Mill Care Center to help support local families in need.

We are incredibly grateful to every person who donated food and to our amazing postal carriers who did all the heavy lifting to collect these donations. Your kindness and hard work make a real difference in the lives of so many in our community.

Thank you for helping us fight hunger together! 📬🥫

Looking for an easy way to donate food? This Saturday, May 9th, is the National Association of Letter Carriers’ annual Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive.

Simply leave a bag of nonperishables by your mailbox!

📍THIS WEEKEND📍

Stamp Out Hunger is happening this Saturday, May 9th. To help York County residents access crucial food assistance, simply place your donated goods in a bag by your mailbox, and your mail carrier will handle the rest!

All donations will stay local and go to York County food pantries, helping our neighbors access much needed food support.

💡Donation Ideas: canned proteins (tuna, chicken), peanut butter, canned vegetables and fruit, pasta, rice, and shelf-stable meals

We’ve listed our most pressing needs below to help guide donations.

If getting out to shop and drop off items isn’t convenient, no worries! Walmart or Aldi gift cards, as well as PayPal donations, are incredibly helpful—our volunteers will take care of the shopping. This allows us to purchase exactly what’s needed and reduce waste.

A quick note: We are currently well stocked on peanut butter and dry pasta, so we do not need those items at this time. Thank you for helping us keep our shelves balanced!

Huge shoutout to the amazing Masons Bend neighborhood for stepping up and answering the call for Easter hams! 💙

Because of their generosity, the final 60 hams were purchased, allowing us to provide a ham to all of the families that requested one for their Easter dinner. A special thank you to Leah Hammond Barrett for organizing this effort!

This is what it’s all about: neighbors helping neighbors and showing what true community spirit looks like. Thank you to everyone who contributed and made this possible!

Our most urgent needs are listed below.

If shopping and dropping off items isn’t convenient, we completely understand! Grocery store gift cards (Walmart and Aldi) or PayPal donations are a great alternative—our volunteers will do the shopping for you. This helps us purchase exactly what’s needed and minimize waste.

Please note: At this time, we do not need peanut butter, green beans, corn, or macaroni & cheese. Thanks to your generosity, we are well stocked on those items.

• Fresh or frozen hams
