The Rattler Battalion bids a bittersweet farewell to SSG Carlos Bauzo 07NOV2025 as he prepares to PCS.

SSG Bauzo embodied the NCO spirit as the Backbone of the Unit. Over his 3 years at the 2-411th he "played the orchestra" balancing a plethora of resources to improve operational readiness by over 25%.

During his tenure, thousands of Soldiers were trained on Fort McCoy and given quality feedback by OC/Ts to improve their Readiness to Fight and Win America's wars. Feedback OC/Ts were only able to provide because they had quality vehicles, vehicles SSG Bauzo ensured were ready.

The Rattler Battalion wishes him the best as he moves on to bigger and better things. His new position is an SFC position, but we aren't worried, because this NCO already punches above his weight class!

No reenlistment bonus, no backpack, no duty status, and no pay needed for this Stellar 'bleeds red, white, and blue' NCO to indefinitely reenlist amidst the longest lapse in appropriations in American History.🗽🦅🇺🇸

SSG David Rivera (The Beast of the 2-411 LSBN S1 shop) indefinately re-enlisted on 03NOV2025.

Driving in with no expectation of pay or compensation, only armed with his love for his country and sence of Duty.

2-411th Rattler Battalion AGRs step up to the driver's seats in support of Vehicle Utilization Operations amidst a historic lapse in appropriations. Driving 44 vehicles a total of over 440 miles from 29-31OCT2025.
