The 11/100th had a Change of Command this weekend! A Change of Command ceremony was conducted which is a tradition that is deeply rooted in Army culture. The ceremony was followed by the presenting of coins to two soldiers within the Battalion for their outstanding performance within the Battalion. What a wonderful way to spend a drill weekend!

Using the resources available to us here at . Soldiers learning to properly survive the elements using the ECWSS cold weather system. Also a little functional training involving cross country and downhill skiing to successful navigate and traverse through a snow environment. Finally soldiers were instructed on and enjoyed the fine dining of the cold weather MRE to complete phase 2 of our 3 phase cold weather training event. What did you do this weekend? A little fun and functional cold weather training here for us at the 11th MI Battalion. Thank you to the instructors from the Winter Warfare Training site here at Ft.McCoy for providing us with the proper wear of the 7 layer ECWCS.
