We are thrilled to launch Year 2 of the Superintendent’s Student Cabinet! 100 outstanding leaders across Butler, Twombly, Homyak, FLMS, and FLHS have been selected to sit directly at the decision-making table with Superintendent Ralston this year.

The best part? The students set the agenda. Here’s what leadership means to them, straight from their applications:

Celebrating Literacy & Community at Butler Elementary! 📚✨

Dr. Ralston had the wonderful opportunity to step into Ms. Nadanyi’s classroom this school year for a special read-aloud session with the students.

From engaging stories to thoughtful questions, the kids brought incredible energy to the room. Inspiring a love for reading starts with moments just like this, and we love seeing our leaders connect directly with our youngest learners.

A big thank you to Ms. Nadanyi and her wonderful class for welcoming Dr. Ralston into their room—it was truly a highlight of the school year! 🏫❤️

Want to have a direct say in decisions that affect your school? We want to hear from you! Join Superintendent Ralston’s 2026–2027 Student Cabinet to share your ideas, uplift student voices, and develop key leadership skills.

Meetings take place monthly during lunch from September through May.

Who Can Apply?

Elementary (3rd–5th): Butler, Twombly, Homyak

Middle (6th–8th): Homyak, Fort Lupton Middle School

High School (9th–12th): Fort Lupton High School
