As the year quickly came to an end, we wanted to celebrate staff who have made a long-lasting impact at Butler Elementary.

Mr. Edward Blasewitz has been a teacher for 44 years, and we are lucky to have had him at Butler for more than 12 of those years. Mr. B as he is affectionately known to everyone, is retiring after this school year and we wish him the very best in his retirement.

Mrs. Stablein, Mrs. Seiler, Mrs. Campbell, Ms. Martinez, Mrs. Hernandez, Mrs. Kieffer and Mrs. Swanson have all been integral members of the Butler Staff. These ladies' careers range in years of service from 1 to 44. Thank you for your dedication and time spent at Butler. Your impact will be felt for many years to come!

A medida que el año llegaba rápidamente a su fin, quisimos rendir homenaje al personal que ha dejado una huella perdurable en la Escuela Primaria Butler.

On Wednesday, May 20th, Butler celebrated students! We celebrated our 5th Graders moving on to Middle School next year. We also celebrated the academic successes of all of our students.

In total, 547 awards were given for academic achievement, attendance, and Outstanding Soar Students.

Thank you to all of our Butler Families for your continued support!!!

We would also like to thank Board of Education Vice President Erica Seegrist and Board of Education Treasurer Dez Packard for helping us recognize our students' achievements!

¡El miércoles 20 de mayo, Butler celebró a sus estudiantes! Celebramos a nuestros alumnos de 5.º grado que el próximo año pasarán a la escuela secundaria. También celebramos los logros académicos de todos nuestros estudiantes.

En total, se entregaron 547 reconocimientos por logros académicos, asistencia y por ser «Estudiantes Destacados Soar».

Congratulations to our students for winning the last of the 2025/2026 Eagle’s Nest Prizes.

These students received Eagle Bucks for demonstrating one or more Positive Behaviors (Self Control, Organization, A Positive Attitude, and Respect). They were able to either purchase small items from our Eagles Nest Store or put their Eagle Buck in a drawing.

On Thursday, May 21st, Butler staff walked out the door one last time with this year's classes and bid them a fond farewell and many wishes for a fun and exciting summer. Butler families, thank you for entrusting your students' education to us and letting us share in their academic growth! Have a safe and happy summer!
