Spring is finally here and so is the 5th annual F&I War Game weekend at Fort Loudoun over April 6-8.
It's not too late to register. At this point there are 46 men at arms registered from 7 units:

This event is still a "GO" for next weekend March 31-April 2. Some great surprises in store for everyone. And remember this year things start off Friday at 630 to allow for evening maneuvers.

French forces have been busy fortifying their positions after last years victory. Ranger Intel indicates a possible large bore gun sighted at the fort ferried down the creek...cannot be verified. British forces have embarked from the East and South launching a siege to retake Fort Loudoun. The French will be surrounded in the coming weeks. Who will be victorious?

The 4th Annual F&I War Game will be starting earlier this year on Friday March 31 at 630 to allow for at least 1 or 2 evening missions by both sides. Still time to register. Numbers are approaching last years totals.

Capt. Armstrong's Company have arrived at Fort Loudoun with supplies in hand, but first the men must ford a small creek. The Captain calls for the fort's garrison to make a presence to persuade the Milice and their Native allies to move on. Mission accomplished Conegochege Ranging Company. Finally, dominating presence of Mt. Parnell appears and they know that the fort is close, but then the enemy is spotted at a distance. Will they make it to Fort Loudoun or be caught? Stay tuned. When the west branch of the Conococheague Creek comes into view the men know they are getting close to their destination. The rear guard is keeping a watchful eye for the French Milice. Capt. Armstrong's Company of Pennsylvania Provincials make a supply run from Fort Littleton to Fort Loudoun in the Spring of 1757. Unfortunately, they are being pursued by the French Milice (La Milice de la Belle Riviere) and their Native allies.
