Eyes on the target. Mind on the mission.

Every round represents hours of instruction, discipline, and repetition.

Army ROTC training develops Cadets who can remain focused, composed and effective under pressure.

Leadership starts long before the trigger is pulled.

MOTIVATION MONDAY ✨

Leave your limits in the dust.

Progress doesn’t live in the comfortable. It lives in the early alarms, the extra reps, the moments nobody sees but you.

The Cadet you are today is not the officer you’re becoming and that gap is exactly where growth happens.

You just have to keep moving forward.

What are you pushing through this week? Drop it in the comments. 👇

FIVE DAYS. ONE STANDARD.

Step to the edge. Trust the system.

Execute the descent.

No hesitation. No doubt.

Just disciplined action under pressure.

What happens on that tower reflects exactly what CST demands at Fort Knox - calm under stress, discipline in motion, and courage on command.

📷 Cadet Logan Hall, , assigned to 6th Regiment, Advanced Camp, rappels down the 64-foot tower on Fort Knox, Ky., July 9, 2025.

📷 Cadet Ariel Ramos, , assigned to 5th Regiment, Advanced Camp, goes down the rappel tower on Fort Knox, Ky., June 26, 2025.

Recovery is part of the training plan.

Between finals, PT, labs, and preparation for Cadet Summer Training, it’s easy to sacrifice sleep to “get more done.”

But readiness starts with recovery.

The Army H2F Sleep Domain emphasizes that quality sleep improves focus, reaction time, emotional recovery, and physical performance.

Cadets who prioritize rest now build habits that will carry into training and leadership later.

Aim for 7–9 hours. Your body and mind will thank you.

Classes may pause. The mission doesn't.

Despite summer break, 8th Brigade Army ROTC Cadets continue building strength, endurance, and readiness for the mission ahead.

As temperatures rise, hydration becomes critical to performance and recovery. Proper hydration fuels workouts, improves recovery, sharpens focus, and sustains performance in the summer heat.

Prepare for tomorrow's challenges today.

Cadets - what is your go-to hydration drink during summer workouts and rucks?
