Military spouses came together at Hawk Career Center for the annual Military Spouse Roundtable, facilitated by Olivia Burley, the Military Spouse Liaison.

The conversations were shaped by their unique experiences, shared barriers to employment, and potential solutions to better support military spouses in the workforce. We were proud to host a child-friendly event that created space for honest dialogue, connection, and collaboration.

Thanks to everyone who joined and contributed to the discussion. To learn how the AFCS Employment Readiness Program can support your career growth visit jblm.armymwr.com/programs/erp

On this Memorial Day, we pause to remember and honor the men and women who gave their lives in service to our nation. Their sacrifice is the reason we are able to gather with family and friends, enjoy our communities, and experience the freedoms they protected. Today is not only a day of reflection, but of gratitude — for their courage, their commitment and the legacy they leave behind.
