We will be having an FRG meeting to meet the new Commander, CPT Pagan and his wife and provide unit information. The meeting will be on January 29, 2015 from 6-7pm @ the Evergreen Chapel. There WILL be childcare. It will be potluck so we are asking that everyone bring the following:

Distro- Main Dishes
Maint- Side Dishes
HQ- Desserts, drinks, plates, cups, napkins, and utensils.

We hope to see everyone there!

Sending a HUGE THANK YOU to all the soldiers who have fought and are still fighting for every single one of us. You leave your families, travel to new places, attend classes, train in difficult and uncomfortable conditions, put your life on the line, and so much more. Thank you again!!

Reminder: FRG Meeting tomorrow, Wednesday, May 21, at Evergreen Chapel from 6-7. We will provide main course food and we are asking that you bring potluck desserts and sides. We hope you can make it.

DON'T FORGET! The Main Outpatient Pharmacy will be closed from Thursday-Monday (May 22-26). If you need prescription refills during that time, you MUST call them in at least 3 days in advance. Refills can be picked up at the drive-thru pharmacy and inside walk-up window. Please share and spread the word!

SAFETY ADVISORY: There have been multiple sightings of a mountain lion reported in the Miller Hill area on JBLM Lewis Main (nearby neighborhoods include Discovery Village, New Hillside, Hillside, and Evergreen).

Cougars are mostly active at dawn and dusk, and generally shy away from people in groups. We advise service members and their families to avoid the Miller Hill area for physical training or recreational activity until the animal is located, or has moved on. To report a wildlife sighting, please contact the JBLM DES Patrol Desk at (253) 967-7112 or -7113 *option 7.

We have 2 events to put on your calendar: the first one is the Food Sale on Friday, May 2 from 11-2 at the motorpool. There will be a sports events for the rear D BN soldiers and E Company will have a food sale to support our unit! Italian Sausage, chips, soda, and baked goods will be on sale. Please, come out and support our unit. The second is: We will have an FRG meeting on Thursday, May 15th from 6-7:30 at the Evergreen Chapel. It will be a pot luck event. We hope to see you there.
