April is the month of the military child. Wear purple to show your appreciation. Our little ones endure so much and build so much resiliency when their parent serves in the military. This month belongs to them. 💜💜💜

This week, 271st MCT sent a team to the I Corps Courage Marksmanship Competition. SGT Shukers, SPC Ford, and PFC England are doing very well in this competition and we're very proud of what they've accomplished so far. We've also got CPL Kellum and SPC Molina on our team from our sister company. They're participating in this competition as team "steppas".

During the battalion wide readiness stand down, 271st MCT improved readiness on all fronts. Maintenance was conducted on our HMMWVs and generators, mandatory training was completed, and we even knocked out some quarterly services! Moving generators requires a coordinated effort between 4-6 service members. Fortunately, no injuries were reported during this process, and the readiness standdown was very productive!
