During our last Battalion formation on Sept. 30th, our Battery chose to honor 1LT Cheyenne Craft as our unsung hero.

Along with our supply team, LT Craft carried the Battery through change of command, ensuring that we maintained tempo in order to finish our layouts and paperwork on time.

Despite the inherent friction that comes with a change of command, it was a smooth transition thanks to the leadership of our one and only Battery XO.

On September 30th, we had the joy of promoting Rebekah Kitzhaber and Conor Pimentelli from the ranks of Specialist to Sergeant, and Sergeant to Staff Sergeant respectively.

SGT Kitz is a valuable member of our Battery’s training room. She and SGT Phylth (pictured) are responsible for all the behind the scenes work enabling our Battery to keep track with ever evolving metrics.

SSG Pimentelli was one of our howitzer Section chiefs. He is a strong NCO with repeatedly demonstrated expertise in his craft and leadership qualities. He will soon be PCSing to the great state of Texas.

Their promotions are well deserved.

On September 29, we awarded SGT Adams and CPL Kindred the Army Achievement Medal for guiding the flawless preparation and ex*****on of Crusader’s second Battery change of command in less than five months.

With less than a month to prepare, they both took charge and made it a smooth transition.

We thank them for the long hours put in for the benefit of the Battery.
