A message from the Combined Arms Support Command commanding general, Maj. Gen. Mark T. Simerly:

Dear CASCOM and Gregg-Adams Teammates,

I could not be prouder and more thankful for everyone’s phenomenal in support of today’s Redesignation ceremony.

No matter how big, or how small, you made a difference in making this monumental event one to remember. I am honored to serve as Fort Gregg-Adams’ first Senior Commander and extremely proud to have had the opportunity to highlight the legacies of both LTG(R) Arthur Gregg and LTC Charity Adams.

We Are Fort Gregg-Adams!

Very Respectfully,

MARK SIMERLY

Imagine your RA**ST not being charged with ra**ng you because your jeans were TOO TIGHT . You read that right, a judge determined the ra**st could not have removed the victim's jeans without her help because they were "TOO TIGHT".

That's why we are wearing jeans today to bring awareness to victim blaming.

"This day of action and awareness is an event in which people are encouraged to wear denim to combat victim blaming and educate others about sexual violence. The day comes following a high profile Italian r**e trial where the survivor was blamed for her r**e because of the type of jeans she was wearing."
