We hope to see you along this year’s Directorate of Emergency Services Holiday Parade! Fire trucks, police vehicles, and of course Santa and his cast of helpers!

19 December - Parade starts at 1400, and proceeds through most streets in villages for the afternoon.

Be safe out there!

Fort Leavenworth is authorizing a phased release today, December 1 beginning at noon. Personnel should consult first line supervisors for specific information.

The phased release schedule is as follows:
• Priority 1: (Noon) Personnel residing outside city limits of Lansing & Leavenworth (more than 10 miles)
• Priority 2: (1 p.m.) Personnel residing in city limits of Lansing & Leavenworth
• Priority 3: (2 p.m.) Personnel residing on Fort Leavenworth

Sherman Gate will be open for outbound traffic beginning at noon for the phased release to alleviate pressure on Grant Avenue.

Please adhere to the phased release schedule to minimize traffic departing the installation.

Fort Leavenworth will be under NORMAL operations Dec. 1, 2025.

Personnel should monitor road conditions and conduct individual risk assessments and communicate with their chain of command and immediate supervisors to reduce risk.

The mission of the Fort Leavenworth Fire Department is to protect the lives, property, and environment of the Soldiers and citizens of the Fort Leavenworth Community.
