Be sure to check out the Fort Leavenworth Military Living History Day this Saturday!

For those off-post, there will be easy installation access via "Scan & Go" - just like for the annual 4th of July fireworks and yard sale days. Bring your Real ID to the main gate to be scanned on!

The event is free and will be fun for all ages! There will be hands-on activities for the kids, including a (safe) barbed-wire crawl, wooden bayonet fencing, equipment try-ons, etc.

We'll have reenactors / living historians portraying events from the 1740s through the beginning of the Global War on Terror, other community history partners, and the storied Fort Leavenworth Hunt Club.

Stop in for a minute or spend all day—either way, we can't wait to see you!

Great news! The Fort Leavenworth Military Living History Day turns out to be co-scheduled with the Fall post-wide yard sale.

This means the gates will be better manned, scan-and-go entry will be in place (i.e. no visitor pass needed), and you can snag some neat stuff - after you visit us of course!

Or, alternatively, if you are a bargain hunter first and history enthusiast second, swing by after you get your haul and see what we have to offer!
