I enjoyed speaking at a town hall meeting with residents of the City of Lauderdale Lakes and the Mayor and City Commission. We spoke about the city's real property taxable value, the TRIM Notice and how the Broward County Property Appraiser’s Office can help our community. I had a great time speaking at the Fort Lauderdale Forum this morning! I spoke on a panel with Fort Lauderdale City Manager Rickelle Williams, and Bill Brown, Chair of the Fort Lauderdale Budget Advisory Council! The forum was hosted by former Florida State Representative and Fort Lauderdale Mayor Jack Seiler! We had a fantastic conversation about the city’s budget, taxable value and proposed property tax reform that the legislature may consider. Thank you Carolyn Burns, Howard Elfman and everyone who attended for inviting me!
