🎉 25 Years, 60,000+ Lives Changed — And We Were There! 🎉

The ELC of Broward County was proud to be part of the OIC of South Florida Middle Class Summit at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, FL — a powerful gathering under the theme "Together, We're Changing Lives."

Our CEO, Renee Jaffe, joined the conversation alongside fellow leaders on a dynamic panel discussing the future of early learning and community empowerment. Discussing that a partnership with businesses and orgranizations with a focus on early childhood education is beneficial, because when we invest in families early, we build stronger communities for life.

Thank you to OIC of South Florida for the invitation, and to every partner in the room working toward the same mission: brighter futures, starting young. 💙

On this day, we pause to remember the nearly 3,000 lives lost on September 11, 2001 — mothers, fathers, sons, daughters, first responders, and everyday heroes whose stories continue to inspire us.

At the Early Learning Coalition of Broward County, we honor their memory by recommitting ourselves to the values that carried our nation through that darkest of days: unity, resilience, and compassion for one another. We remember the courage of firefighters, police officers, and everyday citizens who ran toward danger to save others.

Today, we hold their families and loved ones in our hearts, and we teach the next generation about the strength that emerges when communities come together.

We will never forget. 🇺🇸

It’s time to register your child for Florida’s FREE Voluntary Prekindergarten (VPK) program for the 2026–2027 school year—available to eligible Broward County families!

📚 Choose Your Program Option:
🗓️ School-Year VPK: Starts August 2026 (540 instructional hours)
☀️ Summer VPK: Starts June 2027 (300 instructional hours)

⏰ Note: The school-year VPK voucher generally covers about 3 hours per day. Any additional hours are not covered—be sure to ask providers about their schedules and costs.
