The 4th Cavalry Brigade, First Army Division East is a multi-component training Brigade. Our mission is to Observe, Coach, Train, Mentor, and Validate our U.S. Army Reserve partners for mobilization to worldwide contingency operations. Our Family proudly consists of five Active component battalions (1-409th "Renegade" BEB, 3-409th "Mustang" BSB, 4-409th "Packhorse" BSB, 1-410th "Gunner" BEB, and 4

-410th "Warhorse" BSB) and five Reserve component battalions (1-311th "Cavalier" TSBn, 3-337th "Wolverine" TSBn, 2-340th "Stalker" TSBn, 3-383rd "Phoenix" TSBn, and 1-411th "Black Jack" TSBn), located nationwide at Fort Knox, Kentucky; Louisville, Kentucky; St. If you are interested in joining the Saber Family, Active duty personnel should preference any of the above units or HHT, 4th Cavalry as their number one choice during their AIM or ASK-EM cycles!
