VIKINGS NEVER QUIT!

The 502nd MRBC proudly joined over a thousand Soldiers at Brooks Parade Field on June 13 to celebrate the U.S. Army’s 250th Birthday with a motivating early morning run! 🇺🇸💪

Families, kids, and even a few four-legged battle buddies joined the formation, showing true Army spirit. Special shoutout to the Fort Knox Fire Department for the cooling spray along the route—it was a hit!

From start to finish, the Viking Soldiers ran with pride, strength, and unity.

This week, we honor several exceptional Soldiers whose hard work, leadership, and dedication continue to set the standard in the 502nd Multi-Role Bridge Company:

🎖️ SGT Winkles – As he prepares to PCS, we thank him for his outstanding service and leadership. In recognition of his contributions to the mission and the team, SGT Winkles was awarded the Army Commendation Medal (ARCOM). Best wishes at your next duty station — you’ll always be part of the 502nd family!

🎖️ SSG Wickman and SGT Howard – For their outstanding performance and dedication during the Spring Field Training Exercise (FTX), both were awarded the Army Achievement Medal (AAM). Your professionalism and commitment directly contributed to the FTX’s success. Outstanding job!

🪙 SGT Guzman – received a Battalion Coin for his exceptional work during his Advanced Leaders Course (ALC) where he was the Distinguished Honor Graduate and Iron Soldier. He consistently leads by example and inspires those around him.
