This month’s spotlight includes information on Sexually Transmitted Infection (STI) testing resources available at W**d Army Community Hospital.

Testing is available at:
• Javier Villanueva Troop Medical Clinic (JVTMC) for 11 ACR Active-Duty Soldiers
• Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) for all other Active-Duty units and dependents

MyAuth is replacing DSLogon!

Many TRICARE secure self-service platforms require you to log on with myAuth or DS Logon. myAuth is a secure login option that’s replacing DS Logon across Military Health System platforms.

Some platforms have already transitioned to myAuth. You’ll continue to use DS Logon to log in to platforms that haven’t yet transitioned to myAuth. These platforms will transition to myAuth in the coming months.

The platform you’re using will tell you if you need a myAuth account or DS Logon account to log in. You can create a myAuth account or DS Logon account if you don’t have one.

Today, our medical company traded dry land for deep water, executing Combat Water Survival Training—a critical skill set that ensures readiness when missions don’t go as planned.

Soldiers pushed through discomfort, built confidence, and strengthened their ability to survive and assist others in aquatic environments. Training like this isn’t just about swimming—it’s about staying calm under pressure, trusting your team, and fighting through the unexpected.

Combat water survival events often include swimming in uniform, navigating water with equipment, and even removing gear underwater—designed to prepare Soldiers for real-world scenarios where water becomes an obstacle, not an option.

For our medics, this training carries even greater weight. Because in their world, survival isn’t just personal—it’s about being ready to save a life anywhere, under any condition
