Take Note, Stay Afloat! Water safety saves lives.

Staying safe in the water starts with awareness and preparation. Drowning remains a leading cause of accidental death, yet many tragedies can be prevented with the right precautions. Whether you’re swimming, boating, or just cooling off, understanding the risks can save lives. As Soldiers, parents, leaders, and community members, let’s work together to promote water safety this summer!

The Army has GREAT MWR options like pools and aquatic centers, Outdoor Recreation boats and fishing gear, and lake-access facilities for the military community. Know the essentials and take action to protect yourself and your loved ones while you enjoy them!

Parents, join CYS every Tuesday and Thursday for a fun playgroup at Expanding Horizons CDC. This group, for both children and parents, will offer a safe space for families to enjoy fun and educational activities at no cost. Children must be registered with CYS.
