This morning, our Longhorn students, staff, families, and community came together for our 9/11 Freedom Walk in remembrance of September 11, 2001.

With every step, we honored the lives lost, the heroes who answered the call, and the courage and unity that brought our nation together. 🇺🇸

A special thank you to our Adopt-A-Unit soldiers and all of the families who joined us for this meaningful morning.

May we always remember. May we always honor. May we never forget. 🇺🇸❤️

Our Pre-K Longhorns had some very special learning partners today! ❤️🐴

Pre-K families joined us for a fun-filled Family Engagement Event celebrating all the learning and growth happening during our first nine weeks!

From writing names in shaving cream ✍️ to counting, sorting, and more, our students were so excited to show their families what they’ve been learning at school.

There’s nothing better than learning, laughing, and growing together! 🥰📚

🎭✨ 4th Grade Goes VIP! ✨🎭

Our 4th graders had an extra-special field trip to Central Texas Theatre to see Trolls Jr.! 🌈🎶

Montague was the ONLY school in the audience, which meant our Longhorns got the full VIP experience! 🤩 Even better, we were so proud to cheer on two of our current students and one former Longhorn who were part of the cast! ❤️🐂

What a fun way to experience the magic of live theatre while supporting our own! 🎭👏

🇺🇸 9/11 FREEDOM WALK — IMPORTANT PARENT INFORMATION 🇺🇸

We look forward to welcoming our Montague families for our 9/11 Freedom Walk this Thursday at 8:00 AM as we come together to honor and remember. ❤️🤍💙

A few important details for families joining us:

🇺🇸 An Adopt-A-Unit soldier will be stationed at each dismissal door to sign parents in as you wait for your child’s class to come outside.

🇺🇸 Families will meet their child’s class at their designated dismissal door and join them for the walk.

🇺🇸 Parents will not enter the school building before or after the Freedom Walk.

Thank you for helping us keep the morning organized and safe while sharing this meaningful moment with our students and community.
