Dr. Jeremy Davis is a dedicated educational leader with more than a decade of experience serving students, teachers, families, and school communities across Mississippi, Tennessee, and Texas. Originally from Greenville, Mississippi, Dr. Davis began his academic journey at Jackson State University with aspirations of becoming a nurse practitioner. However, after being recruited to serve as a STEM Major Representative and working alongside a National Board Certified Teacher, he discovered his passion for education and the transformative impact educators can have on the lives of students.

Driven by a commitment to make a positive difference, Dr. Davis has built a career centered on empowering students and strengthening educational systems. His professional experience includes serving as a classroom teacher, instructional specialist, regional math coach, curriculum implementation coach, Director of Elementary Education, and district-level leader. Throughout his career, he has worked with and supported multiple school systems, including Klein ISD, IDEA Public Schools, Houston ISD, Harris County Department of Education, and districts in Mississippi and Tennessee.

Dr. Davis earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Jackson State University, a Master of Arts in Teaching from Belhaven University, an Education Specialist degree in Educational Supervision and Administration from Freed-Hardeman University, and a Doctor of Education in Instructional Leadership from Freed-Hardeman University.

As an educator and leader, Dr. Davis believes that every child deserves to be seen, valued, challenged, and supported. His educational philosophy centers on educating the whole child by fostering environments that promote academic excellence, character development, leadership, and respect for individual differences. He is passionate about building strong relationships with students, staff, families, and community partners to ensure every child has the opportunity to thrive.

Dr. Davis is honored to join the Meadows Elementary family and looks forward to partnering with students, staff, and families to continue building a culture of excellence, belonging, and achievement. He is committed to helping students develop the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to become successful leaders in an ever-changing world.

Today, KISD district representatives from Advanced Academics visited two very special Meadows Roadrunners-Kindergarten student Nova Silvers and 2nd Grade student Janelle-Jane Dang to present them with project of distinction awards. Nova and Jane were selected to represent Meadows at the district level TPSP (Texas Performance Standards Project) showcase. These students created such incredible projects that they were awarded with the project of distinction for Kinder and 2nd Grade. Congratulations to Nova of Ms. Henson's class and Jane of Ms. Troutt's class and a special thanks to our GT coordinator, Ms. Carpenter for overseeing these projects.

Congratulations Roadrunners! We are proud of you!

Throughout the year, students from Early College High School have been coming to Meadows every Friday to read and be read to by our Roadrunners. They have developed relationships with our students, volunteered at our events, and read countless books to our kids. They are a treasured part of our week!

Behind the scenes, these wonderful high school juniors and seniors were collecting over two hundred books to donate to our Roadrunners! Today, two ECHS graduating seniors explained their service project to our youth ambassadors and gave away books. Students couldn't wait to start reading and we are so thankful for the this wonderful gift--the gift of fostering a love of reading! We will miss our volunteers, but look forward to a future partnership with the wonderful students of Early College High School.

Thank you and Congratulations to our graduating Seniors!
