📢 Honor Guard Training & Equipment Inspections at Convention

On Thursday morning during convention, we will be conducting Honor Guard training and equipment inspections. We will also have personnel available to assist posts with getting signed up to receive the stipend for conducting Army Funeral Honors.

I strongly encourage every post to send at least three members of your Honor Guard team to attend this training. Current requirements mandate that Honor Guard members be certified, and we have fallen behind in ensuring our teams meet this important standard.

This is an excellent opportunity to verify your equipment, receive updated training, complete certification requirements, and ensure your post is prepared to continue providing the highest level of honors to our veterans and their families.

Our Honor Guards represent some of the most visible and meaningful work we do as Legionnaires. Let’s make sure every post is equipped, trained, and ready to answer the call.
