The Indian Health Service (IHS) has launched a new QR code system that allows patients to quickly and easily access our patient satisfaction survey at any time. Your feedback is important and helps us identify opportunities to improve the care and services we provide as well as highlight areas we are doing well. Standardized surveys like this also enables IHS to compare facilities across the organization.
Maintaining a balance between patient demand and available services continues to be a challenge for the Fort Hall IHS. We understand the frustration patients may experience during high-demand periods when phone lines are busy and provider schedules fill quickly.
We are actively working to recruit and hire additional healthcare providers and dentists to better meet the needs of our community. While IHS has been undergoing an organizational realignment that has slowed the hiring process, we remain committed to improving access to care. We anticipate that adding new providers will help increase appointment availability in the near future.
