Kimball Township Fire Department โ February 2025 Monthly Update
February was another busy month for the Kimball Township Fire Department, with our crews responding to 112 calls for serviceโa 7% decrease from the 121 calls in January. The most notable drop was in motor vehicle accidents, with just 2 calls in February compared to 14 in January. Given the winter weather and road conditions, this is a significant improvementโthank you for driving safely!
Busiest Time of Day: Our highest call volume occurred between 8:00 AM and Noon, with 30 calls for service during these hours.
Our department provides emergency response services to Kimball Township and contracted portions of Clyde, St. Clair, and Wales Townships. While 83% of our calls were within Kimball, we also responded to 13 calls in our contracted areas. Additionally, we supported neighboring departments on 6 mutual aid incidents, reinforcing our commitment to community partnerships.
Spring is near! As temperatures rise, be extra cautious on the roads. Deer will be on the move, and with warmer weather, motorcyclists will be out more frequently. Remember: Look Twice, Save a Life!
The Kimball Township Fire Department operates with full-time and part-time firefighters, dispatchers, inspectors, and emergency medical providers, ensuring 24/7 staffing to be ready when you need us.
