Update regarding our E-6 Sailors eligible for the E-7 exam‼️

An extension has been granted for the Enlisted Joint Professional Military Education I (EJPME I) requirement for Advanced Leader Development Course (ALDC)! E6 Sailors now have until December 31, 2026, to complete EJPME I to be eligible for ALDC. Sailors who do not complete EJPME I by this date will be ineligible to enroll in ALDC.

Per updated guidance in OPNAVINST 5351.2C, EJPME I is a prerequisite to register for the ALDC.

These updates aim to strengthen our enlisted leadership through:

- Continuous professional growth
- Joint-force education and readiness
- Career-long leadership training
- Enhanced preparation for operational and joint environments

Check with your chain of command or career counselor to ensure your professional development is on track!

Front & Center | IT1 Britain Weaver | Cyber Wins the Fight

Meet Information Systems Technician 1st Class Britain Weaver, a recognized cybersecurity expert with Task Force 504.

IT1 Weaver brought deep experience to the fight as part of the task force's advance onboarding team, including 11 years as a certified cybersecurity professional in the civilian sector, where he has spent the past six years detecting and responding to cyber threats at the enterprise level.

He recently coordinated across five states to ensure 250 warfighters were ready to operate before day one of the exercise. Working with the local supporting command, he built the process from the ground up, and command leadership maintained uninterrupted network access throughout.

That is the Navy Reserve advantage. IT1 Weaver spends his civilian career defending networks at the highest level. When the fleet needs that capability forward, he brings it with him.
