🇺🇸 Honoring the Flag and What It Represents 🇺🇸

The AGCRA Anne Arundel Chapter is proud to recognize our Assistant VP of Reserve Affairs, Dr. Hernando Flowers, for serving as a guest speaker during Jackson College’s “Stars, Stripes and Stories: Discovering the American Flag” Flag Day event.

Dr. Flowers shared the history and significance of the American Flag, highlighted the importance of Flag Day, and encouraged attendees to reflect on what the Flag means to them personally. His remarks served as a meaningful reminder of the values, sacrifices, and unity represented by our nation’s banner.

What a great evening of fellowship and celebration! 🎉

The AGCRA Anne Arundel Chapter came together for an outstanding After Work Social in honor of the AG Corps Birthday. Members and supporters enjoyed an evening filled with meaningful conversations, laughter, networking, and camaraderie as we strengthened old connections and built new ones. The evening truly reflected the spirit of our chapter—bringing people together that extend beyond the workplace.

Today, the AGCRA Anne Arundel Chapter was honored to support the annual Tribute & Weight of the Fallen ceremony alongside the Fort Meade Sergeant Audie Murphy Club and Military Healing Creative Processes (MHCP).

A special thank you to SFC (Ret.) Prince Yohannes for providing us the opportunity to participate in this meaningful event honoring our nation’s fallen service members.

Chapter members assisted with placing boots and flags in tribute to those we have lost across the U.S. Armed Forces, creating a powerful visual reminder of the sacrifices made in service to our country.

We also proudly participated in the Weight of the Fallen, carrying sandbags around the parade field in remembrance of those who gave their lives in defense of our freedoms. This solemn tribute will continue throughout the day as participants honor the legacy and sacrifice of our fallen heroes.

The AGCRA Anne Arundel Chapter remains committed to supporting events that honor service, preserve remembrance, and strengthen our military community.

It was a HOT one today, but that did not stop a great group of AG professionals and family members from coming together for this month’s “Iced” Coffee & Connection 😉!

This morning’s conversation focused on current life events, and attendees shared valuable insights, personal experiences, and practical strategies for managing the demands of work, family, leadership, and self-care.
