This is the Annual Consumer Confidence Report (CCR) for the Fort Gay Municipal Water System.

A copy of this report has been mailed to all Fort Gay Municipal Water customers. Per Cheif Operator Larry Seagraves.

The Consumer Confidence Report, also known as the Annual Water Quality Report, provides important information about your drinking water. It includes where your water comes from, the results of water quality testing, any detected contaminants, how those results compare to federal and state drinking water standards, and information about the safety and quality of your drinking water.

The report is required each year by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) under the Safe Drinking Water Act and helps keep customers informed about the quality of the water they receive.

If you have any questions about the report or your water service, please contact the Fort Gay Municipal Water Office during normal business hours.

PUBLIC NOTICE

Attention Town of Fort Gay Water Customers

A scheduled water outage is planned for Thursday, June 11, 2026, beginning at 8:00 a.m.

This outage is necessary to allow for maintenance and improvements to the water system. Customers may experience a temporary loss of water service during this time.

We ask that you make any necessary preparations in advance and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Water service will be restored as quickly as possible once work is completed.

Dumpsters are full at the intersection. No more DUMPING. Please take your trash to another dump location listed on “Michael Adkins for Commissioner” page. Thank you.

Dumpsters, trash bags and gloves located at intersection.
If you don’t have a way to transport bagged trash, reach out and we will be picking up Friday and Saturday in town.
If you have large items ask for assistance at the dumpsters.
If we all clean up around our streets and homes we will have it looking good in no time
