Full-Time Police Officer
The Town of Fort Fairfield is seeking a qualified, motivated, and community-oriented individual to join the Fort Fairfield Police Department as a full-time Police Officer. Fort Fairfield is a community of approximately 3,500 residents, bordering New Brunswick, Canada, and the communities of Caribou, Presque Isle, Limestone, and Easton, Maine.

The Town offers lateral entry for full-time, experienced law enforcement officers, along with a comprehensive benefits package, including:

Hourly compensation from $29.29 – $40.40/hour, depending on experience, with credit given for prior full-time service
Individuals certified by the Maine Criminal Justice Academy (MCJA) as full-time or part-time officers are encouraged to apply. All certified candidates must successfully complete a background check and interview process. Applicants may also be required to pass medical, psychological, and polygraph examinations.
