On 12 February, the 10th Mountain Division (LI) Warrant Officers, Fort Drum, NY hosted a breakfast meeting, affording an opportunity for the Cohort to come together. During this time, the cohort recognized WO1 Kanelos and team for their exceptional work and success in TMDE operations. Also, the Cohort recognized newly selected NCOs for their appointment to become Warrant Officers. Lastly, a Q&A session was conducted to address concerns and issues.

On 5 SEP 25, COL Katresha Bailey, Commander of the 10th Mountain Division Sustainment Brigade (DSB), and Command Sergeant Major John Mast, facilitated a Warrant Officer Mentorship Social for Warrant Officers (WOs) across the Division. The event included a discussion on WO Warfighter capabilities for Commanders of various Warrant Officer Military Occupational Specialties. Also, teambuilding activities highlighted interoperability in task and mission ex*****on for each WO specialty and culminated in a Q&A session with the DSB Command Team. This inaugural mentorship social launched a series aimed at fostering growth, collaboration, and leadership.

Soldiers from the 10th Mountain Division, including Servicemembers from the Thousand Island Warrant Officer Association (TIWOA), HHBN, Division Sustainment Brigade (10MDSB), 10BSB A CO (1BCT), 1-87, (1BCT), and family members, volunteered their personal time to support Feed Our VETS (FOV) of Watertown. Their selfless service demonstrates dedication and passion for serving the Watertown and local community. Feed Our Vets provides nutritious food to US Veterans struggling with hunger. The FOV pantry distributes food in Watertown on the 3rd Saturday of each month, from 9am to 12pm.

CW5 Ash has been a dedicated Leader, actively engaged in the North Country community. CW5 Ash exemplifies the values of family, Soldier, and community by demonstrating persistent commitment and passion to everything he does.

Please help us congratulate CW5 Ash as he takes on the new role while simultaneously coaching, mentoring, and teaching at all levels to inspire and lead from the front!

It was an absolutely great moment this past Thursday (5 Dec 24) with our Thousand Island Warrant Officers here at Fort Drum. We had a superb agenda covering future WO charities, local community service opportunities, contest for the ugliest Christmas sweaters, coolest Christmas hats, and some tough WO trivia.
