🚨 Community Safety Update 🚨

Effective August 1, 2025, all crashes involving e-bikes or e-scooters in New York that result in injury, death, or property damage over $1,000 MUST BE REPORTED. This includes:
✔️Car vs. e-bike/scooter
✔️Two e-bikes colliding
✔️Single-vehicle e-bike/scooter crashes
✔️E-bike vs. pedestrian
✔️Property damage over $1,000
👉🏼 Remember: Leaving the scene of such a
crash is a crime.

And don't forget, school starts next week! Every day, around 50,000 drivers illegally pass stopped school buses in NY. To protect our children, police will be out at school bus stops enforcing STOP-arm violations and educating drivers.
⚠️ Know what the yellow & red lights mean!
🚦 If the red lights are flashing and the stop arm is out - YOU MUST STOP. NO EXCUSES. They are not optional. They save lives.

Together, let's keep our roads safe for students, cyclists, and all members of our community. 👮‍♀️👮🚔💙
