1st Battalion, 87th Infantry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division (LI) held a Change of Command Ceremony August 20th, 2025, at Fort Drum, New York.

A change of command ceremony is a formal military tradition that marks the official transfer of authority to the new commander. Outgoing Commander, LTC Christopher Turner relinquished Command to LTC Branden Quintana.

We send a heartfelt thanks to the Turner Family, who have been dedicated teammates and given so much to the Summit Family. We wish them the very best in their future endeavors.
