Volunteer instructors reach other family members about military lifestyle and resources providing the tools and skills needed to become vital members of their community. As well as instructing, we offer a variety of volunteer opportunities. AFTB Instructors are available upon request to conduct classes or separate modules for individual units, organizations, and family readiness groups on a contra

ct style basis. Please contact the Program Manager for more information on this opportunity

AFTB is also an available tool for those Military Family members of the National Guard, and Reserve Components. Even if you aren't near a military installation, our Level I, II, and III courses are offered online in English and Spanish at www.myarmyonesource.com . Army Family Action Plan (AFAP) is a grassroots program that addresses Quality of Life Issues throughout the Army family - soldiers, family members, retirees and civilians. Fort Drum host an annual conference to address issues, which are worked by a selection of delegates and presented to our local leadership. Some of these issues will be moved to mid-level or DA level conferences. Since it's start in 1983, there have been 128 Legislative changes, 179 DoD or Army policy change and 200 Improved programs or services/funding as a result of the AFAP process.
