Gold Star Children's Day is observed on August 1st each year to honor the children of service members who have died in the line of duty. While not a nationally recognized holiday, it is acknowledged through resolutions passed by the U.S. Senate. The day encourages support for these children and recognizes their sacrifices.

On Memorial Day, we pause to honor the service members who gave their lives in defense of our nation. Their courage, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment to duty will never be forgotten. As we reflect on their legacy, we stand with the families they left behind, ensuring their sacrifice is remembered and their loved ones supported. Today and always, we are grateful.
