On 13 October 2023 the company executed a Change of Command ceremony to farewell CPT Antonio Winston on a successful 18 months. The company thanks you and your family for the sacrifices and support throughout your tenure. CPT Winston will be transitioning to the BDE S-3 shop to serve as the BDE Engineer. The company would like to welcome the incoming commander CPT Dominic Thurman. CPT Thurman is no stranger to the BDE as he has served in the BDE S-6 shop for the past nine months prior to taking command. The company looks forward to your leadership in taking the company to the next level!

The knights getting after individual weapons qualifications this week on both the M4 and M249. Resulting in 23 personnel qualifying on there assigned weapon systems.

CPT Winston attended 510th HR M17 range to qualify on his assigned weapon system.

The Knights would like to congratulate 1LT Zimmerman on his recent promotion to 1LT! 1LT Zimmerman is an outstanding junior officer with a bright future who serves as the Retrans platoon leader in the company.

The Knights successfully completed JRTC 23-09 support to both 10DSB and 375th CSSB from 8AUG23-8SEP23. The teams provide tactical internet support both in and out of the box with little to no interruptions to service support during the rotation. We are truly proud of everyone’s efforts and support!

The Company command team paid the teams a visit at Fort Johnson during RSOI to ensure conditions were set before the rotation began and the command support relationship was established with the team supporting 375th CSSB.

The SFRG provides the teams upon their return to FDNY with thank you gifts backs for the efforts during JRTC 23-09.

CPT Winston presents each Soldier a company coin for the outstanding efforts during the rotation.

On 23MAY23 the company farewelled SFC McDonald who served as the company 1SG this past year. The company truly appreciated all of your motivation, hard work and dedication to the organization. Thank you for everything!!! SFC McDonald will not be far as he assumes his new role in DIVARTY serving as their BDE S6 NCOIC.
