💖 Black Knights — this 5K is bigger than us.

Every step we take is for those who can’t. Every mile is for the survivors who fought with everything they had. Every finish line is for the Families still battling today. 🌸

When we lace up and wear pink, we’re not just running — we’re standing as one formation against a fight that touches countless lives. This is our chance to show that strength isn’t just on the battlefield — it’s in our hearts, our unity, and our support for a cause that matters.

So let’s rise to it. Walk, jog, or run — but do it with purpose. Do it for awareness. Do it for hope. Do it for them.

Together, we turn the trail PINK. Together, we show what it means to be Black Knights. 🔥

💖Lace up, wear pink, and make every step count! Our annual Pink Out 5K is more than a run. It is a show of strength, hope, and support for those impacted by breast cancer.

🗓️ Wednesday, October 8
⏰ 7 AM
📍 Magrath Sports Complex
📝 Register on location the day-of.
💖 Free and open to DoD patrons of all ages. (Walkers, strollers and dogs are welcome to participate).

Walk, jog, or run. Together, we move for awareness and for survivors! 💪

On September 11th, 2001, our nation faced one of its darkest days.
Nearly 3,000 lives were lost in the attacks on the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and aboard Flight 93. Among them were civilians going about their daily lives, first responders who ran toward danger without hesitation, and service members whose watch never ended.

In the days and years that followed, a generation stepped forward to serve—answering the call to defend our country and protect our freedoms. Many in our ranks today wear the uniform because of that day.

This memorial reminds us that freedom is never free. It is paid for in the courage of those who stand in harm’s way, the resilience of those who carry on, and the unity of a nation that refuses to forget.

Today, we honor the victims, the heroes, and all who have served in the fight against terrorism. Their legacy lives on in every act of service, every moment of vigilance, and every life touched by their sacrifice.

We remember. We honor. We will never forget.

Charlie Company will be there, running together in honor of the lives lost on September 11th and in tribute to the courage of the first responders and service members who answered the call that day. 🇺🇸

This run isn’t just about miles—it’s about remembrance, unity, and carrying forward the legacy of resilience.

⚔️ Black Knights, let’s show up strong. ⚔️

𝑻𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒌 𝒀𝒐𝒖, 𝑩𝒍𝒂𝒄𝒌 𝑲𝒏𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕𝒔 𝑭𝒂𝒎𝒊𝒍𝒚

Tonight’s Charlie Company Family Fellowship Night was more than just board games, food, and laughter, it was a reminder of what truly strengthens our formation: family, unity, and connection.

To every Soldier, spouse, child, and friend who came out, we thank you. Your presence made the night a success and showed once again that our company is more than a team in uniform; we are a family bound by support, resilience, and shared purpose.

Events like these remind us that the mission isn’t only about readiness on the line, it’s also about building bonds off it. Strong families build strong Soldiers, and strong Soldiers build an unstoppable force.

⚔️ Together, we ride to glory. ⚔️

🔥 𝑮𝒆𝒕 𝑨 𝑮𝒓𝒊𝒑 – 𝑩𝒍𝒂𝒄𝒌 𝑲𝒏𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕𝒔 𝑫𝒐𝒎𝒊𝒏𝒂𝒕𝒆 🔥

At today’s Get A Grip Competition, three of our own—Frias, Beaurun, and Chandler—rose above the field, each taking 1st place in their weight brackets. Their grit and determination set the standard for strength and discipline.

But the story doesn’t end there. Charlie Company came out in force, making up nearly half of the competitors. Soldiers Lincke, Myles, Amirov, Moreland, Almazan, Ali, Putman, Bechtel, Hicks, Oshode, Torres, Francisco, and Threats stood alongside their brothers-in-arms, pushing themselves and proving that true strength is found in numbers, unity, and relentless drive.

This wasn’t just about lifting weight—it was about lifting each other. Every Black Knight who stepped onto that platform showed what it means to carry the patch with pride.

⚔️ Charlie Company: stronger together, always ready. ⚔️

🌙✨ 𝑪𝒉𝒂𝒓𝒍𝒊𝒆 𝑪𝒐𝒎𝒑𝒂𝒏𝒚 – 𝑹𝒊𝒅𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒐 𝑮𝒍𝒐𝒓𝒚, 𝑫𝒂𝒚 𝒐𝒓 𝑵𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕 ✨🌙

Over the past week, Soldiers of Charlie 548th DSSB have been conducting Night Drivers Training with Night Vision Goggles (NVGs).

Night Drivers Training is designed to build confidence, skill, and safety while operating military vehicles in limited visibility. Using NVGs, Soldiers learn how to adapt their vision, maintain awareness of their surroundings, and effectively maneuver in low-light conditions.

This training ensures our Black Knights are ready to operate in any environment—whether under the bright sun or in the darkest hours of the night.

Strength through readiness. Confidence through training.

🎖️ 𝐵𝑙𝑎𝑐𝑘 𝐾𝑛𝑖𝑔ℎ𝑡𝑠 𝑃𝑟𝑜𝑚𝑜𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛𝑠 🎖️

Today we celebrate two of our own as they step into the next chapter of leadership. SPC Moreland and CPL Williams-Lee have both earned the rank of Sergeant, a milestone that represents more than stripes on their chest—it’s a call to lead, to guide, and to carry the standard forward.

Promotion in the Army is never given; it is earned through grit, determination, and the willingness to put others before self. As newly promoted Sergeants, they now take on the responsibility of shaping Soldiers, building teams, and leading from the front.

Join us in congratulating SGT Moreland and SGT Williams-Lee on this achievement. The climb continues, and the Black Knights ride to glory together!
