After 30 long months of partnership engagementents, Officer and NCO development and mentorship and the occasional TDY, today we bid farewell to our Battalion Command Sergeant Major, CSM Luis Carmona. It has been a pleasure and we wish you safe travels as you continue onward to your next assignment.

The transition brings us another outstanding senior enlisted advisor, as we welcome CSM Kenyon Brown. We look forward to the road ahead and know we will continue to be in great hands.

And just remember, “A” is for amigos! -CSM Luis Carmona

MAJ Fitzpatrick, our Battalion XO, signed a proclamation with Stackhouse Elementary School, our adopt a school program partner.

Under Army Regulation 360-61, Community Relations, the Adopt-A-School program contributes military resources and services to schools in order to nurture the intellectual, emotional, social and physical growth of children in the surrounding JBMDL area, to increase public awareness of the Army’s mission, and to foster good relations. The program fosters a better understanding of the community’s school system, strengthens and improves school programs and curricula, and creates a sense of personal involvement and interaction between organizations and schools.
