POV: it’s the holidays and someone just pressed play on the old camcorder. 📼🎄

Soldiers of the 78th Army Band perform "It’s a Holiday Season" with a throwback, home-video style inspired by the tapes many of us grew up watching, because the holidays have always sounded best at home.

Wishing you a happy holiday season and a joyful New Year!

This Thanksgiving, we are reminded that some families have waited generations for their loved ones to come home.

Recently in Philadelphia, two of our own, CW3 Simmons and SFC Tedrick, had the honor of assisting in planeside honors for WWII Airman Staff Sergeant Charles Keeney, finally returning home after more than 80 years.

As we reflect on what it means to come home during this season of gratitude, it was a privilege for Soldiers of the 78th Army Band to help bring one of our nation’s heroes back to his family.

Welcome home, Staff Sergeant Keeney. 🇺🇸

Music has a way of connecting us to family, memories, and home.

This holiday season, Soldiers of the 78th Army Band share A La Nanita Nana, a traditional lullaby passed down through generations. Chosen for its deep personal meaning to our musicians, this piece reflects comfort, care, and the bonds that music can create across cultures and time.

Wishing you a peaceful holiday season. 🎶

The 78th Army Band extends our heartfelt thanks to Official: Liberty State Park for hosting us this past 4th of July! We were honored to celebrate our nation’s independence with an unforgettable day of music, featuring our salsa, punk rock, and concert bands — all set against the stunning backdrop of Lady Liberty herself.

Marching Through the Heart of Philly! 🎉

The 78th Army Band proudly represented the U.S. Army Reserve at Philadelphia’s Wawa "Welcome America" events, bringing music, pride, and patriotism to the streets of the City of Brotherly Love.

Led by SFC Andrew Lutter as Drum Major, the band showcased military precision through marching technique while playing Army music in celebration of Independence Day.

Thank you, Philly, for the incredible energy and support!
