On 25 OCT 2025, NCO Academy personnel at JBMDL participated in the 19th Annual America Gold Star Mother Ruck March, dedicating every mile to the Gold Star Families who represent the ultimate sacrifice.
This commitment to physical readiness and mental fortitude resulted in multiple podium finishes for the Academy:
🏆 1st Place (Light Team): CSM Lundy, MSG Wittman, SFC Vargas, SSG Valencia 🥈 2nd Place (Heavy Team): SFC Spence, SSG Blake, SSG Foster, SSG Hadnot 🥈 2nd Place (Individual): SFC Arnold
We were honored to march, representing different families to honor their soldiers. The weight carried is temporary; the memory of their sacrifice is eternal. We will never forget.
