What a wonderful night for our Dunn families to come together, connect, meet our teachers, and discover all the amazing clubs, activities, and opportunities available for our students! ✨

From Japanese Club 🇯🇵 to Creative Writing, Pencil Box workshops, Blooming Girls, Odyssey of the Mind, Music Club, Art Club, Chess Club, LEGO Club, Mighty Math, Unified Sports, and so much more… there truly is something for everyone! 🎨♟️🎶🧩📚🏀

We LOVE seeing our Dunn Dolphins discover new passions, try new things, build friendships, and find the places where they shine. 🌟

Please join us in giving a big Dunn Dolphin welcome to Mr. Mohammed Abu Sammoor! 🐬
Mr. Abu Sammoor joins our team as our Occupational Therapist and will be at Dunn on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. We are so excited to have him with us! 💙

We are SO excited to welcome Ms. Brooklyn Dance to the Dunn Dolphin family! 💙🌊
Ms. Dance is joining us as our 1st & 2nd Grade Literacy Teacher, and we know she is going to bring so much joy, curiosity, and love of learning to our students!
A few fun facts about Ms. Dance…

🐬 Her spirit animal is a dolphin — for real! She absolutely LOVES the water! 🌊

🏝️ She loved Lake Tahoe and has even gone snorkeling with sharks and sea turtles in the Virgin Islands! 🦈🐢

🐟 Her favorite food? Smoked salmon!

🐻 Her favorite book? We’re Going on a Bear Hunt! 📖
But most importantly, Ms. Dance hopes that her students grow in curiosity, empathy, and a lifelong love for learning. 💙✨

Our Dunn Dolphins have had a great start to the year! Our first few days have been focused on building relationships within our classes and community, learning the behavior and academic expectations, routines, and procedures around the school, and more!

Please join us for our K-4th Community Connections event Thursday evening from 5:15-6:30 pm. 5th Grade families will have an ECO Week Info Night in the library from 4:45-6:00 pm.

We are also in need of recyclable water bottles in the front office for students on hot days. Your donations are greatly appreciated.

Dunn families, please note the following schedule for tomorrow:

Breakfast: 8:30–8:45 AM
Line up to go inside: 8:45 AM

Dismissal:
• Kindergarten: 1:23 PM
• 1st–5th Grade: 1:28 PM

There will be:
• No afternoon specials for K–2
• No after-school activities
• No AlphaBEST
