IMPORTANT INFORMATION FROM THE LARIMER COUNTY ASSESSOR:

Misinformation About Federal Property Tax Benefits

The state and county have received recent inquiries regarding alleged new federal property tax benefits, exemptions, and tax forms. It has come to our attention that this information stems from AI-generated misinformation currently circulating on social media and video platforms. The Division of Property Taxation has reviewed this information and has not found any evidence of the programs or legislation that the videos and social media posts are claiming.
