Colorado State University Tree Advisory Committee Colorado State University's Campus Tree Advisory Committee strives to help the city of Fort Collins to establish and sustain healthy community forests.

Three years ago in 2011, Colorado State University joined the Arbor Day Foundation's Tree Campus USA Program. Since then, the Committee has worked hard in promoting guidelines for the protection and maintenance of the campus’ urban forest, promoting best management practices in tree care, reducing the risks to public safety related to hazardous trees, and to ensure a sustainable campus urban forest through species diversity and compliance.
