When: Friday, October 25 at 1600
Where: 9449 Warfighter Road (COF parking lot).
Who: Delta Company Soldiers and families

CPT Ehrenzeller and 1SG Chizek along with other 2SBCT command teams summited Peak 8 at 12,935ft, hiking 28 miles over two days from Camp Hale to Breckenridge, Colorado. They conquered a 7,900 foot gain in elevation while honoring mountain warfare history, learning valuable skills in mountaineering, leadership and practical skills all of which to share and train their Soldiers to persevere through demanding environments they could face.

The event also commemorated the eight Soldiers who made the ultimate sacrifice during the Battle of Kamdesh in 2009, which was one of Afghanistan's fiercest battles.

Congratulations to PFC Clayton from 1st Platoon on his recent promotion to SPC! His dedication, hard work, and unwavering commitment have made him a valuable member of our team. We're truly proud of his accomplishments!
